Abuja kaduna Train; NRC announces restoration of track acces .
Travellers plying the Abuja -kaduna train service will now have sigh of relief following The Nigeria Railway Corporation’ (NRC) the restoration of the track access between Abuja and Kaduna.
NRC’s Managing Director , Mr Fidet Okhiria, confirmed this development in a statement issued through its Director Operations of the NRC, Mr Niyi Alli, on Thursday in Lagos.
This time around, passengers would be required to provide their NIN registration for verification before purchasing train tickets, this measure was for improved passenger profiling and safety on board.
Recall that a passenger train of the Corporation was attacked by terrorists recently leading to number of deaths and abductions of passengers who are still in the hands of the terrorists.
