I am not surprised a bit about Marcus Rashford’s recent form, English media hype aside, the lad is talented.
I have always maintained this conviction that Rashford is on the same pedestal as Mbappe, albeit Mbappe edge on his finishing. Marcus just needs to work on his finishing and be more clinical and the lad will be up there.
When he busted into limelight, blistering in form with his dazzling and mazy runs up against defenses and finishing off moves, I knew the bulk of his potential.
They possessed same style of football, blessed with pace and terrorizing defenders at will.
Marcus’s biggest challenge is his inability to maintain consistency coupled with some injuries.
I laugh at those comparing him with Bukayo Saka of Arsenal. I still don’t understand their bases of comparison though. Saka a great player no doubt but certainly not up there with Marcus.
Saka should be compared to Mason Greenwood if not for the latter recent calamity.
Being on the scoresheet for the past five games and seven home games consecutively is something to be proud of for Rashford BE.
Ladies and gentlemen, we are entering Kylian Mbappe and Marcus Rashford’s era.
